Are You Struggling with Symptoms of Trauma, Anxiety, or Depression?
Life throws curveballs at every one of us. Overwhelming events can create imbalances in your nervous system that negatively affect how you feel and relate to others. Do you feel like you have one foot on the gas and one foot on the brake at the same time?
- Stuck in the same old rut? On emotional autopilot?
- Trouble sleeping? Bad dreams?
- Can't focus at work? Forgetting things?
- Worried? Stressed? Always on edge? Easily startled?
- Tear up easily? Depressed? Overwhelmed?
- Numb? Feeling shut down? Feeling phoney?
- Disconnected from others? Can't express your feelings?
You may be experiencing dysregulation in your nervous system. It's time to jump-start your emotional battery and switch gears! You may not even know yet where you want to go, but as a psychologist who has experience dealing with these issues, I can help put you back in the driver's seat!
Is lack of control of your emotions affecting your relationships?
Do you feel judged, alone, and misunderstood? Have you been told:
- "You're so sensitive."
- "I have to walk on eggshells around you."
- "I'm tired of your mood swings."
- "You're so distant."
- "Why can't you communicate with me?"
- "I wish you'd let me in."
- "I miss the old you."
I can help you heal from trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Since trauma is stored in the nervous system, talk therapy alone does not alleviate symptoms. I use a mind-body treatment approach in which I incorporate cutting-edge Self-Regulation Therapy (SRT), which decreases excess activation in the nervous system and reduces symptoms in significantly less time than required by conventional therapy.

Medical research shows that one factor associated with a good prognosis for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is rapid seeking of treatment. People who do not receive treatment experience symptoms for over 2 years longer than those who do. Rather than allowing your symptoms to get worse, seek counselling now.
